First I'll deal with the formalities and give you all the Mission Statement of Daly (pronounced daily, I know it doesn't make sense, but pronounciation is important!) Street Electronics: "To provide no cost electronic design and product marketing for innovative ideas."
After saying that, I'll give you the more enjoyable story of what I said above. Firstly, my name is Bill and I am the head honcho and only employee of Daly Street Electronics (DSE). I am an electrical engineer based in Winnipeg and I love to design electronics. I also have a very entrepreneurial spirit. My combination of loving electronic design and my entrepreneurial spirit has one major problem: I can't think of new innovative ideas to utilize my skill in electronic design. One day, because I am a great people person, I figured out that non nerdy people have the most innovative ideas. Basically I have heard this statement: "Hey, your an engineer, why don't you create so and so?" so many times that it finally clicked on me to give my present response "Hey, thats a great idea, I'll design your product and take it to market, and we'll split the profits 50/50." For me this has been a great way of meeting fascinating people and implementing some excellent ideas.
My current work ethic of DSE is to keep it fun. I have an awesome fulltime job which I love and I do my DSE projects in my spare time and for fun.
This page is under construction. But I will add stuff as time goes by. I wants to make this site fun and enjoyable, but most importantly, simple! But this will be a continual task. This web page will be continually evolving.
